Common issues and how to resolve them.
Webhooks Not Triggering
Check webhook is active
Ensure the webhook is enabled. Disabled webhooks won't receive requests.
Verify URL is correct
Double-check the webhook URL in your external service matches exactly.
Check trigger conditions
If your trigger has conditions, ensure the payload matches them.
Slack Messages Not Received
Bot not in channel
The A8NT bot must be invited to channels to receive messages:
Listener is inactive
Check that your Slack listener is enabled.
Wrong listener type
Ensure you're using the correct listener type (channel, DM, mention, or keyword).
AI Agent Errors
Connection expired
OAuth tokens can expire. Re-authorize your connection at AI > Connections.
Rate limits
AI providers have rate limits. Check the error message for details.
Model not available
Some models require specific subscription tiers. Verify your access level.
Slack Sending Errors
Channel not found
The channel ID may be incorrect or the bot doesn't have access. Verify the channel exists and the bot is a member.
Token revoked
If your Slack token was revoked, re-authorize the workspace.
Viewing Logs
Check execution logs for detailed error information:
- Outputs - View all action outputs
- Agent Runs - Detailed AI agent logs
- Source stats - Webhook and listener execution counts
